CHICO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Golden Valley Bank (OTCBB: GVYB), headquartered in Chico, California today announced the appointment of Mark Kimmelshue and Creasia Gale as the newest members serving on their Board of Directors. This appointment expands the Board to ten members.
Mr. Kimmelshue has been involved with agriculture his entire life. He was raised in a farming family in Durham, California and is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Business Management and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Mark works for Associated Rice Marketing Cooperative (ARMCO) where he is currently General Manager/CEO.
Ms. Gale is a graduate of CSUC, Chico with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Services with minor studies in Economics. She is co-owner of Bidwell Consulting Service, Inc. and has worked in the retirement plan industry for 20 years. Creasia has lived in the Chico area for many years and currently resides in Durham where she and her husband also have a boutique winery and vineyard.
Both are original shareholders of the Bank.
