The DustPRO™ proppant application system is a cost-effective preventative solution featuring patent-pending technology from Preferred Technology that can help control respirable silica and fugitive dust by more than 60% during all sand transfer points. DustPRO™ proppant is based on Dow Chemical’s patent-pending Preferred DC™ technology, which is highly compatible with frac fluids and does not alter proppant characteristics. Additionally, DustPRO™ has been designed to be environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and to deliver excellent proppant flow.

This product marks the second collaboration between Preferred Sands and the Dow Chemical Company. This proprietary technology results in a high-performing non-phenolic product that is cleaner and more environmentally sensitive compared to traditional phenolic-based resins.
