Fuel Performance Solutions Partners with U.K.-Based IPU Group and Unipart Group to Market, Sell, Distribute and Provide Aftermarket Support of New FPS Product

PerfoClean is Specifically Designed to Clean and Maintain Cleanliness of Diesel Fuel Storage Tanks

ST. LOUIS--()--Fuel Performance Solutions, Inc. (FPS) (OTC: IFUE) announced today that it has entered into a business partnership with U.K.-Based IPU Group and Unipart Group to market, sell, distribute and provide aftermarket support for PerfoClean, a new FPS product. PerfoClean is specifically designed to provide superior cleaning and protection properties for diesel fuel storage tanks.

“Our initial focus with FPS has been in the stationary generation industry,” said Andrew Whitehouse, IPU Division Director. “Going forward, we will continue in the stationary power generation market but also see the development of a commercial opportunity for PerfoClean with the diesel fuel storage tanks for road transport, rail and marine operators.”

“The ever changing fuel market, including the introduction of bio-diesel fuel blends, has exacerbated the prevalent problems associated with diesel fuel storage: fuel stability, microbial contamination, sludge, water and overall fuel cleanliness,” said Axel Farhi, IFT’s Director of Global Business Development. “PerfoClean addresses and solves all of these problems.”

“The FPS-IPU-Unipart relationship provides end users the ability to operate and maintain their entire fuel system at optimal efficiency,” said Jonathan Burst, FPS’s CEO. “A clean fuel system, coupled with use of our multifunctional fuel additive formulation, DiesoLiFT, allows equipment to operate at a higher level of performance. End users will realize fuel efficiency improvement and a reduction in maintenance expenses.”

Mr. Burst added, “The FPS-IPU-Unipart partnership selling and providing aftermarket support will further enhance our ability to build our clientele and increase revenues.”

IPU Group (http://www.ipu.co.uk/) designs, manufactures and distributes high quality parts and systems for critical diesel and gas engine applications. Their core business is power generation - virtually every diesel generation manufacturer is a client – but they also provide engineered solutions to the oil and gas, marine, industrial engines, mining and land-based industries.

Unipart Group (http://www.unipart.co.uk/) is a multinational logistics, supply chain, manufacturing and consultancy company headquartered in Cowley, Oxfordshire, England. It has operations in Europe, North America, Australia and Japan and works across a variety of sectors that include automotive, rail, marine and leisure.
