MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Lynnette Slater Crandall has been named to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Top Women in Business. Ms. Crandall is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Public-Private Project Development group, a Partner in the Public Finance and Legislative practice groups and Chair of the Political Law group. Her experience working in the public and private sectors has given her unique insight into spotting the business needs of her clients, and helping to bridge the communication gap that often occurs between corporate and governmental entities. Her practice involves assisting clients with not only the legal intricacies of complex public-private development projects and bond financings, but also the strategies to address the related business and political challenges.
The Business Journal Women in Business project recognizes 50 women professionals and business owners each year for their career achievements, leadership qualities and contributions to the broader Twin Cities community. Editors selected the winners from hundreds of nominations.
“This is a wonderful recognition for Lynnette who has been at the center of some of the most innovative public-private developments in the region, including the new Vikings stadium and the Mayo Destination Medical Center project,” noted Dorsey Managing Partner Ken Cutler. “It is great to see another of our women partners recognized for being at the top of her profession.”
All honorees will be featured in the May 30 Women in Business publication and recognized at a luncheon on May 29, 2014.
