“Here Comes Omni” Returns with Global Focus

Luxury Hotel Brand to Hold Sixth Annual One-Day Sales Blitz

DALLAS--()--On April 10, Omni Hotels & Resorts will “take it to the streets” for its sixth annual “Here Comes Omni” day, a one-day event where the entire Omni Hotels & Resorts sales network conducts face-to-face meetings and hosts appreciation events for its valued customers. From coast to coast, the sales and catering network of 800 associates will call upon more than 4,000 customers in 40 different cities across North America. “Here Comes Omni” has been a tremendous tool for Omni as it allows the brand to further understand client needs and interests.

This year’s “Here Comes Omni” day will also have a global component as 2014 marks the 10th Anniversary of the Global Hotel Alliance, a collection of 22 global upscale and luxury regional hotel brands, in which Omni was a founding member. In celebration of the anniversary, as well as the success of “Here Comes Omni,” GHA members are hosting “Here Comes GHA Week” from April 7 - 11. GHA member associates from 350 hotels across 61 countries are coordinating sales calls and customer receptions around the world the entire week. GHA was founded in Berlin in 2004, with the goal of helping independent, upscale and luxury hotel brands compete with mega-chains, while enabling members to retain their individual identities.

This year’s “Here Comes Omni” focus will be on the brand’s growing Resort Collection, which added six new signature properties within the last year; as well as the Convention Collection, and its newest jewel, the Omni Nashville Hotel. Meeting planners will have the opportunity to learn about other brand offerings including the Classic Cocktails program and Taste Washington partnership.

Furthermore, meeting planners and intermediaries who book a meeting between April 10 – September 28, 2014, to occur during the same timeframe will receive one of the following:

  • Internet TV streaming device or a $100 master account credit or charitable donation (for meetings with rooms spend of $3,000 – $6,000)
  • Mobile tablet or a $400 master account credit or charitable donation (for meetings with rooms spend of $6,001 – $20,000)
  • Laptop or a $1,000 master account credit or charitable donation (for meetings with rooms spend of more than $20,000)

To coincide with “Here Comes Omni,” the brand is officially unveiling the Omni Meeting App powered by Encore mobile application.
