--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For decades, the world of sports has trailed other industries in embracing innovation. However, a growing number of organizations have now accepted the value of business analytics and entrepreneurial thinking. Stanford alumni have been at the forefront of this effort and are returning to campus with other industry leaders to discuss the problems they are working to solve.
Amy Brooks, head of NBA Team Marketing and Business Operations (MBA '02), and Sam Hinkie, general manager of the Philadelphia 76ers (MBA '05), will be joined by panelists Joe Lacob (owner of the Golden State Warriors), Paraag Marathe (president of the San Francisco 49ers), and Andre Iguodala (player for the Golden State Warriors). Also participating will be leaders from ESPN, Google, the NFL, the Pac-12, the Sacramento Kings, the San Francisco Giants, the San Jose Sharks, and Wasserman Media Group.
