SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lincoln Property Company has been selected after a competitive RFP process as the new property manager for the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), the $188 million transportation hub that is currently transforming the skyline between Honda Center and Angel Stadium in Anaheim. Upon completion later this year, ARTIC will serve as a major transportation gateway that eventually incorporates a mixed-use center on the existing 16-acre site owned by the City of Anaheim.
Already, Lincoln has begun working closely with the City to determine policies and procedures, establish the vendor procurement schedule, and meet with key stakeholders in the community. The team has also begun leasing efforts for the 13,000 square feet of retail space within the center that will eventually include two full-service restaurants with liquor licenses, two inline retail spaces, and several interior and exterior retail kiosks.
As part of the overall contract, Lincoln will also be responsible for financial management, procurement and oversight of major third party service providers, IT systems administration, marketing, and special events in the public space, including opening day-related events towards the end of the year.

ARTIC will serve as a hub for Orange County and the region, where freeways, major arterial roads, bus routes and the rail system converge. On opening day, services will include Metrolink, Amtrak, OCTA bus, Anaheim Resort Transit, shuttles, taxis, and tour and charter buses. The building will include interior and exterior public plaza areas, public art, landscaping, amenities including electrical vehicle charging stations and bicycle access to the Santa Ana River Trail. ARTIC will also improve pedestrian access along Douglass Road and enhance pedestrian connections to Honda Center and Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
Designed with an eye to sustainability, ARTIC will be built to LEED Platinum standards, making it one of the first of its kind among transportation centers in California and nationally. Lincoln currently manages nearly 20 million square feet of LEED certified buildings nationwide.
