CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BEC Legal Systems has released a major update to its suite of legal applications, BEC CoreRelate Framework™. Also just released is a new member of the suite, BEC Assemble-It™ which introduces a new approach to legal document automation.
BEC Assemble-It brings legal document production to a new level by providing direct access to matter data from inside Word’s Task pane. Each user or practice group can build a library of documents and clauses that are always visible and ready to drag into the working document. Variable information such as case captions, claim numbers and related party data can be embedded into any clause so that up-to-date data is inserted every time. Assemble-It is also innovative in the way it re-assembles content pieces based on an automated question and answer script and maintains original Word formatting and paragraph numbering. An introductory video about the product is available at https://www.youtube.com/BEC Assemble-It Overview.
BEC CoreRelate Framework also includes Docket Enterprise™ and MatterLink®, which have been on the market since 2003 and 2008 respectively, and LegalBar®, the company’s flagship document production application introduced in 2000, which adds legal-specific functionality to Microsoft Word. All members of the suite share a common SQL database and are tightly integrated with Microsoft Office as well as many legal billing and document management applications. BEC Legal Systems emphasizes the suite’s ability to complement and complete a law firm’s existing technology infrastructure.
