TRUMBULL, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Audio Expo North America (AXPONA), announced today that John Hamm, CEO of PonoMusic, will be presenting at the 2014 event in Chicago on April 25 at 6:00 p.m.
PonoMusic, the brainchild of singer-songwriter Neil Young, is focused on its mission of allowing listeners to experience music the way artists created it – at the recording resolution the artist originally chose in the studio. PonoMusic is both an online music store and playback device offering the highest-resolution digital music. The project is being funded by a Kickstarter campaign which launched on March 11 with a goal of $800,000. As of April 1, more than $5.2 million has been raised.
Following Hamm’s presentation, a question-and-answer session will be held, giving audience members a chance to learn more about this unique digital music experience.

John Hamm is a highly regarded organizational leader, entrepreneur and investor in Silicon Valley, with involvement at companies such as Adaptec, IronPort, Brocade, IBM and Western Digital. A music lover and audiophile, he worked as an audio engineer early in his career and is currently a Board Member of the Grammy Foundation. John has also authored a book on leadership entitled "Unusually Excellent."
