Lighting Science® launches the Glimpse™ Indirect Recessed Retrofit

One-to-one downlighting replacement offers clean look with greater energy savings

SATELLITE BEACH, Fla.--()--Lighting Science® (OTCQB: LSCG) announced today the launching of its Glimpse™ Indirect Recessed Retrofit luminaire, a one-to-one LED replacement designed for installation into six-inch downlight cans using an E26 base.

The Glimpse Indirect Recessed Retrofit fixture allows for a reduction in materials used to create an improved beam spread. The hidden LEDs provide the equivalent output to a 65-watt halogen lamp with the spread of a bulged reflector. An aluminum reflective dome allows for thermal management with a clean aesthetic.

To enable complete control and greater energy savings, Glimpse Indirect is dimmable and as simple to install as screwing in a light bulb. A special feature of the Glimpse Indirect is its unique ability to be surface mounted as a light fixture, making it ideal for commercial retrofit or new construction applications as well as making it compliant with California's Title 24 Residential Code.
