PRIUM’s Scott Yasko to Discuss Medical Marijuana in Workers’ Compensation at The CLM 2014 Annual Conference

BOCA RATON, Fla.--()--PRIUM’s Scott Yasko will lead a roundtable discussion on “Worker’s Compensation - Medical Marijuana: Educating Providers and Claims Adjusters” at the 2014 CLM Annual Conference.

Yasko is a national account executive for PRIUM, a medical intervention company specializing in managing chronic pain and the prescription drug issues surrounding it. He will be joined by Julie Fortune of Arrowpoint Capital and Angela Henderson with BerkleyNet to consider how medical marijuana may affect employers and workers’ compensation providers.

Starting on April 10 at 10:10 a.m., the session will examine the clinical risks and benefits, including the effect that medical marijuana has on claimants who are taking opioids. Other discussion points include legal liabilities and physician licensure issues and the probability of states mandating payment for medical marijuana.
