ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America “HLR America”, announced today the appointment of Keith Kennerly as Vice President, Structured Health & Financial Solutions, effective February 24, 2014.
Most recently, Keith served as Managing Director for Aetna Inc. where he focused on reinsurance, securitization, strategic financial initiatives as well as capital markets for Aetna’s corporate finance platform; including execution and management of medical loss ratio securitizations (Vitality Re Program). Before joining Aetna Inc., Keith worked for Paladin Strategic Partners and prior to that Keith was a Senior Banker with Barclays Capital (formerly Lehman Brothers). Keith spent the majority of his career with Barclays Capital as a Liquidity Manager focused on structuring, marketing and executing several large financing transactions for non-liquid and mortgage related assets, providing short-term liquidity solutions as well as long term securitizations for the Firm and its Prime Brokerage Clients.
Keith received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and earned his Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania with a dual major in Finance and Strategic Management.
In his role as Vice President, Structured Health & Financial Solutions, Keith will be responsible for sourcing and originating new health financing opportunities for HLR America.
