Signature Bank to Ring the Closing Bell at the NASDAQ Stock Market

Bank Celebrates 10 Years as a Public Company; Honors 13th Business Anniversary

NEW YORK--()--Signature Bank (Nasdaq: SBNY), a New York-based full-service commercial bank, announced today that its management will ring the NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell on Monday, March 24, 2014, at 4:00 PM EDT.

President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph J. DePaolo will preside over the NASDAQ Closing Bell. He will be joined by Scott A. Shay, Chairman of the Board and John Tamberlane, Vice Chairman along with other colleagues of Signature Bank. The ringing of the Closing Bell will take place at the NASDAQ MarketSite at 4 Times Square in New York City.

Signature Bank is ringing the closing bell to commemorate its 10th anniversary as a public company and 13th anniversary since commencing operations. The Bank opened on May 1, 2001 with an initial $43 million investment. Today, assets have grown to more than $22 billion while capital has reached $1.8 billion. Additionally, Signature Bank has gathered more than $17 billion in deposits. All this growth was achieved organically in less than 13 years.
