MILWAUKEE--()--For the sixth time, the Ethisphere Institute has named Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) as one of the “World’s Most Ethical (WME) Companies,” a recognition that honors organizations that continue to raise the bar on ethical leadership and corporate behavior. The Ethisphere Institute is an independent center of research promoting best practices in corporate ethics and governance. World’s Most Ethical Company honorees understand the correlation between ethics, reputation and business success.

“Rockwell Automation is part of an exclusive community committed to driving performance through leading business practices,” said Ethisphere’s Chief Executive Officer, Timothy Erblich. “The entire community of World’s Most Ethical Companies believe that customers, employees, investors and regulators place a high premium on trust and that ethics and good governance are key in earning it.”

“Rockwell Automation’s culture of integrity is reflected in the choices we make, and I am proud of our employees who consistently do the right things, the right way, every day,” said Keith D. Nosbusch, Rockwell Automation chairman and CEO. “Our commitment to integrity, reflected in how we engage our employees, partners and customers, is the cornerstone of delivering sustained business value.”

In Rockwell Automation’s most recent Global Voices Survey, employees ranked the company’s culture of ethics, responsibility and accountability among its strongest drivers of employee engagement. Further, according to a study conducted for the company by the Corporate Executive Board, Rockwell Automation leaders ranked the importance of ethics and compliance higher than nearly all of the more than 175 other companies surveyed.
