NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Saks Fifth Avenue has partnered with fashion stylist Erin Walsh for the Spring 2014 season. Throughout the partnership, which runs from March until May, Erin will provide her styling tips and tricks on Contemporary trends both online and in-store.
"For me, fashion is always a dichotomy - both elevated and aspirational, but also accessible. Saks has always embodied this balance so well, it was really a perfect collaboration. I also love the idea of translating the work of these extraordinarily talented designers in a manner that trusts the smarts and the wit of their customer. I think people want to learn to take risks and have fun with fashion, they just need the confidence to understand how. Style is a matter of confidence, most of the time,” says Erin Walsh.
The partnership kicked off earlier this month with a release of mini styling sessions on YouTube where Erin walks viewers through the Sporty Spring Jacket, Crop Tops and Trousers and Coordinated Separates. To come later this month are videos on The Jumpsuit and Romper, White on White, and Floral.
Next on the list are a few in-store appearances with Erin. On Wednesday, March 19 she’ll be styling customers in New York and on Friday, March 21 in Naples. Later in April, Saks Fifth Avenue will host Erin at their Palm Desert and Boston locations. At this same time, saks.com will feature a story in The Edit.
