New information will better drive merchandising and pricing actions

This first in a series of progressive and integrated product improvements includes the addition of real-time unique vehicle differentiators and likely buyer persona data to the Dominion Inventory suite of products. These action oriented, VIN-specific features will allow dealers to take their marketing and pricing efforts to the next level by addressing two key questions: What story should I be telling about this specific vehicle to attract online shoppers? Who are the likely buyers of this specific vehicle in my local market?

Leveraged throughout the Dominion Inventory Suite, unique vehicle differentiators, including inventory manager, Storybuilder and marketing pricing tools, analyze the key selling features of each vehicle. This gives dealers a better understanding of how to appropriately price and merchandise used vehicles. The visual icons quickly identify for a dealer what is different and unique about a vehicle compared to the local market and can also serve as a sales tool by providing suggestions about which vehicle to show next to a shopper.

Furthermore, the addition of likely buyer persona data within the Dominion Inventory suite creates an effective tool to help dealers identify the right buyer personas for their used vehicles. Likely buyer persona data first combines general demographic data such as home tenure and estimated household income data with individual demographics like age, gender and occupation. The results are then compared to automotive industry purchase behaviors, yielding insight into segments for VIN-specific messaging from dealers. This information can be integrated with CRM, website and other marketing systems to create a custom and unique consumer experience for each online shopper.
