Wahlquist received the award at the INDA Annual Meeting and Leadership Conference on March 11. Since 2001, the INDA Lifetime Technical Achievement Award is given to individuals who have a long established technical career in the nonwovens industry. Recipients are nominated by member companies and interested stakeholders. INDA’s Technical Advisory Board then determines the winner based upon a candidate’s nonwovens technology involvement, active INDA membership, and at least 20 years of industry service based on advancing the technology of the industry and culminating with commercial successes.
INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, serves hundreds of member companies in the nonwovens and engineered fabrics industry doing business globally. Since 1968, INDA events have helped members connect, learn, innovate and develop their businesses.
