HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RSI is pleased to announce that Murray Christie joined RSI on Monday, March 3, 2014 as VP North America based in Houston. Prior to joining RSI, Murray was President of Ikon Science Americas, also based in Houston.
Commented Gareth Taylor, President of RSI: “We are delighted to have Murray join the team at RSI. Murray brings a wealth of experience to RSI; his initial focus will be on further developing our growing North American market.”
“I am excited to join RSI, with a large US based services team, a commitment to providing quality integrated services, access to unique technology and extensive experience in key deep water and tight environments. RSI is uniquely positioned to help our North American clients improve the quality and turn-around of their exploration scenario modeling, reservoir property predictions and de-risking projects,” said Murray Christie. “What attracted me to RSI was their ability to set themselves apart from beginning to end of the QI services process: ensuring the best quality inputs by integrating the latest rock physics based modeling and feasibility with high performance gather conditioning. Then using these inputs to deliver the client an understanding of the reservoir that may have been missed had the careful integration of well data, geology, regional rock property studies, geometric seismic attributes or CSEM not been performed."
RSI is an independent geoscience consulting firm offering quantitative reservoir characterization with the goal of reducing exploration drilling risk and optimizing reservoir appraisal and development plans. The Company is an industry leader in the interpretation and integration of seismic data with well log, CSEM and MT data, and uses advanced rock physics methods combined with sophisticated geologic models to deliver robust and reliable predictions of reservoir geometries and properties to our customers.
