Addison Group Adds Human Resources to Administrative Practice

Expanded Practice Addresses Growing Demand for Skilled HR Talent in NYC, Chicago, Schaumburg

CHICAGO--()--Addison Group, a growing professional staffing services firm, today announced the expansion of its Administrative division with the addition of a dedicated Human Resources team. The new Addison Group Administrative & Human Resources division will help organizations address their contract, contract-to-hire and direct hiring needs for skilled administrative, operations and HR talent.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects that overall employment in all HR job categories will grow 22 percent between 2008 and 2018, which is a much faster growth rate than most occupations. As demand for skilled HR employees grows, about one-third of HR professionals believe that remaining competitive in the talent marketplace will be one of the biggest challenges HR executives face over the next 10 years.1

Addison Group has witnessed a marked increase in the need for HR related roles over the past 18 months, which motivated the move to expand the Administrative division. The Addison Group Administrative & Human Resources practice will address the growing supply and demand gap for skilled, professional HR talent while continuing to deliver on the need for operations and administrative full-time and temporary hires. With significant experience securing HR placements within its contract business unit, Addison Group will primarily focus on filling contract and direct hire roles within its clients’ HR departments.

“We believe this expansion is a natural progression for the Administrative division,” said Ed Kavanagh, President of Administrative & Human Resources at Addison Group. “With seven years of experience supporting HR-related staffing initiatives and 20 percent of our direct hire business in 2013 involving HR-related roles, Addison Group has the breadth and depth of experience needed to succeed in this market and help companies address their back office staffing challenges.”

The dedicated search teams will assist companies in locating talent for the following roles:

- HR Generalist

- HR Manager

- HR Director

- Recruiter

- Benefits Specialist

- HR Assistant

- Talent Acquisition Manager

- Training and Development

- Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
