The educational conferences, which take place Tuesday, May 13, and Wednesday, May 14, explore the latest trends and resources on a variety of topics related to counter and anti-terrorism, critical infrastructure and secured cities, campus security and life safety, cybercrime and cyberterrorism, cyber security, law enforcement strategies and tactics, disaster response and recovery, and contingency/emergency planning and management.

Speakers come from federal, state and local agencies, including the FBI, Central Intelligence Agency, U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Park Police, NASA, Arlington County (Va.) Policy Department Office of Emergency Management, Montgomery County (Md.) Community Emergency Response Team, Jacksonville (Fla.) Sheriff’s Office and the New York Guard, and international organizations, such as INTERPOL and NATO.

Discounted registration rates as low as $99 for the conference are available until Monday, April 14, 2014. The cost to attend each workshop is $299.
