New Agreement for Prevas' Maintenance System

VÄSTERÅS, Sweden--()--Regulatory News:

Prevas (STO:PREVB):

Nedre Romerike Avløpsselskap IKS and Nedre Romerike Vannverk IKS in Norway have selected Infor EAM as their joint system.

Nedre Romerike Avløpsselskap (NRA) IKS is a municipal company that treats and transports sewage in Norway. The company also has primary responsibility for the main transport system to the wastewater treatment plants. Last year, NRA treated 18 million m3 of wastewater and produced 20,000 tons of sludge. Nedre Romerike Vannverk (NRV) IKS produces and supplies 16 million m3 of drinking water to delivery sites in several municipalities in Norway. The company's responsibility comprises all of the facilities that are necessary to deliver water in bulk, including back-up sources. The companies share the same administration organization and CEO.

Now they have jointly signed an agreement with Prevas for the acquisition and implementation of the Infor EAM maintenance system, and are planning to have the solution in place by summer 2014.

"We sent out inquiries for a joint operations and maintenance system in autumn 2013. We wanted a system that could improve reliability of operation and capacity, as well as provide better traceability for what is completed in relation to planned and urgent work," says Eirik Rismyhr, who is the operations manager at NRA.

"We wanted a system that could, in an easy manner, help us organize and govern day-to-day tasks, at the same time that it would be easy to maintain, develop and use. It is for this reason we took our time in talking to various references and testing the relevant solutions in more detail. The references gave good feedback, which meant that Prevas and Infor EAM were chosen," continues Eirik Rismyhr.

Infor EAM is one of the most utilized operations and maintenance systems in the world, and it is used in a number of different industries all across the globe. The system is based on leading web technology. Using graphic key performance indicators (KPI) and personal inboxes, a quick overview of the tasks and their status can be obtained, at the same time that the system uses active utilization and analysis to provide customers with a better basis for making decisions.

"We have a number of positive references for Infor EAM within water and sewage, and that helped us obtain NRV and NRA as customers," says Einar Alexander Andersen, who is the sales manager at Prevas.

"Infor EAM is a very flexible and user-friendly system that satisfies the needs of many different customers, but it is also important to focus on the cooperation aspect and on how we can help our customers achieve a simpler day-to-day situation and better profitability. This is the key to getting good references, and we are looking forward to starting the project with NRV and NRA," says Einar Alexander Andersen.
