FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) today announced its 2014 Partners Program. This nine-month program pairs 16 government professionals with 16 industry counterparts to collectively engage, develop and prepare for future roles at the Senior Executive Service (SES) and corporate executive officer levels.
“ACT-IAC advocates for a closer alignment of the government and private sector in the federal IT community and the Partners Program embodies that mission,” said Kay Ely, 2014 Partners Program government chairwoman. “The differentiator of the program is that each government and industry participant is paired with their counterpart to engage in thoughtful dialogue and training throughout the year.”
The ACT-IAC Partners Program is the only program of its kind that allows an open and trusted partnership between government and industry professionals. 2014 Partners Program participants were nominated by their respective government agency or company sponsors, and evaluated by a panel of senior government and industry executives on their individual professional leadership accomplishments and their potential for future advancement within their organization.
