PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today’s winter storm is expected to cover the region with an accumulation of snow. The storm is expected to intensify throughout the evening and continue through Monday.
PECO has opened its Emergency Response Center, and all available personnel are ready to respond to any weather-related outages should they occur. The company also has enhanced staffing in place in the company’s call center, dispatch centers and in the field to respond to customer needs.
Employees, contractors and workers from utilities along the northeast corridor, including crews from the company’s sister utility, ComEd in Chicago, are prepared to assist in restoration efforts.
Should damage occur, PECO urges customers to stay safe and always stay away from downed power lines and damaged electrical equipment. Customers should check on their neighbors, family and friends, and assist the elderly and those with special needs.
Customers experiencing any electric or natural gas issues should call the company at 1-800-841-4141. Customers also can report an outage at www.peco.com or by using PECO Smart Mobile On-the-Go, the company’s mobile enhanced website.
