LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Source Interlink Media (SIM) announced today the appointment of Scott P. Dickey as the Chief Executive Officer of Source Interlink Media.
Michael L. Sullivan, who previously held the position, is focusing his efforts solely on his role as Chief Executive Officer for Source Distribution.
Scott joins a talented management team; including Chris Argentieri remaining as President, and Bill Sutman serving as recently appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
“The Board of Directors is delighted to have Scott lead the Source Interlink Media business,” said Ted S. Lodge, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “Scott is a seasoned and broad-based executive with significant experience in the traditional and digital media industries, live events, brand licensing and consumer products. He is ideally qualified to lead the company and drive innovation in these critical next stages of its growth and expansion.”
Dickey joins Source Interlink Media from Competitor Group (CGI) where he served as Chief Executive Officer and led the development, growth and ultimate sale of CGI, a private-equity backed active lifestyle media and live event entertainment company. Scott has a 25-year career of managing high-profile global businesses. He joined the Competitor Group in 2008 when he was appointed as the President and Chief Operating Officer. Scott was previously the President of Transworld Media, a former division of Time Inc. where he led the multimedia expansion and ultimate sale of the business to Bonnier in 2007. Since June 2013, Transworld has been under the management of Grind Media, a division of SIM. Dickey also held previous executive positions within the sports and media industries, including The Walt Disney Company, the National Basketball Association, and as President of K2 Licensing Products (formerly Football USA).
“I am honored and excited to join the team at Source Interlink Media to help transform the company during its next stage of innovation and development. SIM has a stable of venerable brands, each of which is ripe for expansion into new markets,” said Scott Dickey. “I look forward to working with the team on this next chapter at SIM.”
