ATLANTA--()--Church’s Chicken popular seafood offerings are back on the menu starting today at participating restaurants around the country. Church’s is spreading the news about its crispy white fish fillets and zesty shrimp in a new ad that features unusual actors that are looking to feast on some great seafood.

The new ad was shot in Atlanta, GA at a Church’s Chicken and created by Church’s new advertising agency, Made. Starring in the ad are the ultimate denizens of the sea -- trained seagulls, far from their usual habitat -- that were hard to keep at bay and away from Church’s delicious fish and shrimp. In fact, the seagulls starring in the ad were the only trained aquatic birds in the entire state of Georgia. The ad shows thousands of seagulls (thanks to computer generated imagery) hovering over Church’s just as they would when they circle around a fishing trawler hauling a fresh catch and prepare to dive in for a meal. The add cuts to Church’s guests enjoying their seafood meals when they notice that one by one right outside the window of the restaurant, the seagulls are gathering around looking to break through the window to get a bite of the crispy fish fillets and shrimp.

“During the Lenten season, many of our guests rely on Church’s to provide alternative choices to our world famous chicken. Our food continues to be the hero in all our ads including our limited time only seafood offers. Our new agency was able to infuse some fun into the ads while still keeping the focus on Church’s great tasting food and value. Following this promotion, Church’s will be launching a completely new brand campaign that will debut later in April,” said Steve Davis, Church’s Chief Concept Officer.

The seafood menu consists of two flaky, crispy fish fillets or an order of zesty shrimp, each with fries and a made from scratch, freshly baked, honey-drizzled biscuit. The seafood meals are available at participating restaurants with prices starting at only $3.49. Guests can add a small drink or a small order of cole slaw for only $1.00. Church’s seafood menu is available through April 27, 2014.
