CIBO ACQUIRES HYDRANT, AWARD-WINNING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AGENCY
Integrated Brand Experience Agency Cibo Solidifies Long-Term Relationship with Celebrated Customer Experience Experts
Integrated brand experience agency Cibo today announced the acquisition of HYDRANT, an established and award-winning customer experience agency based in San Francisco. The two companies will begin operating as one immediately, with HYDRANT being fully integrated into Cibo in the coming months.
The acquisition kicks off what promises to be a big year for Cibo, as the agency prepares to deliver $15 million in revenue across its offerings in brand advertising, digital marketing, application design and implementation. The acquisition of HYDRANT significantly strengthens that forecast, bringing the total number of Cibo employees to more than 45 and further solidifying the company’s growing reputation for providing highly effective integrated digital brand experiences to its clients.
“We are thrilled to welcome the multi-talented HYDRANT team to the Cibo family,” said Lu Lacourte, Co-Founder and CEO at Cibo. “Ever since our founding, we’ve had multiple opportunities to partner with them on projects for a wide variety of clients. HYDRANT’s staff will enhance the Cibo talent pool with expertise in every aspect of user experience. The fusing of our two companies promises to deliver an even greater depth of brand storytelling, user experience design and marketing technology solutions to create work for our clients that people care about.”
The Cibo acquisition will also see HYDRANT Co-Founder and Partner Alder Yarrow assume the title of Chief Experience Officer (CXO) at Cibo, while fellow HYDRANT Co-Founder Bob Skubic has been named Cibo’s new Chief Design Officer (CDO).
“Designing great customer experiences has always been about understanding the way that brands and people interact,” said Yarrow. “Joining forces with Cibo produces a unique and powerful set of offerings for any company looking to enhance or transform their brand experience.”
Founded in 2005, HYDRANT has earned an impressive reputation for its multi-channel customer experience work for a long list of high-profile clients, including Twitter, YouTube, Google, Room & Board, Gymboree and Advent Software among many others.
