DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Romance fills the air at the life care communities sponsored and operated by senior living community developer Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation (SQLC). Bob Stoup and Juli Hall are 86 years old and could not be more in love with each other. They are residents at The Barrington of Carmel, the life care senior living community sponsored by SQLC in Indiana. They were high school sweethearts, but were forced to make life choices that took them down different paths. Eventually, they made their way back into each other’s arms and married at age 77. At Edgemere, the SQLC-sponsored community in Dallas, Robert and Ann Montgomery are keeping the romance alive after 64 years of marriage. He still describes her as the “most beautiful girl in the world.” At The Stayton at Museum Way, the SQLC-sponsored community in Fort Worth, it was love at first sight for residents David and Rushie Simpson who met as teenagers and are going strong after 56 years of marriage.
Bob and Juli at The Barrington parted ways after high school, married different people, and then reconnected after losing their spouses. They married each other in their late 70s, and prove it’s never too late for love. Known as the “fun couple,” they are always up for an adventure and enjoy traveling across the states.
Robert and Ann live at SQLC’s Edgemere in Dallas, and their favorite pastime is square dancing. In fact, the Montgomerys believe having fun together is one of the many reasons they’ve had a successful marriage for 64 years. Their favorite memory is their son’s birth.
David and Rushie of The Stayton at Museum Way have a fairytale romance. After their first date as teens, they knew they’d end up married. The Simpsons wrote each other every day for five years before getting married. They believe having a great sense of humor is key to their successful marriage.
