CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Meghann Johnson has rejoined Business Wire as Chicago regional sales manager, consulting with clients and prospects in Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan to help them identify the most appropriate and cost-effective products and services to meet their communications objectives.
Johnson, who reports to regional vice president Elaine Stiles, recently returned to Business Wire after spending three years at Edelman Public Relations. As a member of the firm's Corporate Affairs practice, Johnson worked on top-tier accounts, specializing in executive visibility programs, content marketing and media engagement. Among her successful campaigns was the spin-off and IPO of Beam Inc. and activation of the Humana Challenge, a PGA TOUR golf tournament.
"I'm looking forward to counseling clients on best practices across the communications industry, from PR to marketing to digital strategies," said Johnson. "I'm also determined to continue to grow Business Wire's presence in the Midwest region and demonstrate why we are the industry leader in news and content dissemination."
A summa cum laude graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, Johnson is an avid explorer who, along with her husband, enjoys sampling new restaurants and tracking down antiques.
