HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Thousands of attendees at Winter NAPE 2014 rush to be the first on the Expo floor Thursday morning. Each February, oil and gas professionals gather in Houston at NAPE, the world’s largest upstream prospect show to buy, sell and trade oil and gas prospects and producing properties. The annual event at the George R. Brown Convention Center facilitates oil and gas deals by bringing together prospects, capital providers and vendors under one roof for face-to-face meetings. In 2012, the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau reported that NAPE Expo had an economic impact of close to $18 million to the City of Houston.
NAPE was created as the North American Prospect Expo by AAPL in 1993 and now includes partners IPAA, Society of Geophysicists (SEG), and American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). For more information, please visit www.napeexpo.com and follow NAPE on Twitter at @NAPE_EXPO.
