HALIFAX, Nova Scotia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Interest in spray foam insulation and building performance solutions is flourishing across Atlantic Canada says Jamie Muirhead, owner of MJM Energy, the region’s largest Icynene spray foam insulation partner.
Meeting with Icynene board member, Annette Verschuren in Toronto this week, the Dartmouth-based building performance contractor said that interest among homeowners and local businesses looking to improve their energy efficiency and comfort had skyrocketed recently.
“Particularly with the extreme cold weather conditions that Atlantic Canada has seen recently, there’s been a renewed interest amongst homeowners and business owners seeking modern, affordable alternatives that deliver on both comfort and energy efficiency. As the only building performance contractor in Atlantic Canada, we are responding to that demand by offering the best solutions on the market such as Icynene spray foam insulation,” said Mr. Muirhead.
“Our partnership with Icynene has helped us manage the growth within the spray foam category and within the region. The support from Icynene thus far has been tremendous and we’re looking forward to collaborating together to take on the next stage of our growth,” said Mr. Muirhead.
MJM Energy joined the Icynene dealer network after reaching a reciprocal agreement with the Canadian spray foam manufacturer in December 2013.
MJM Energy provides spray foam insulation installation and building envelope upgrades and installations for both residential and commercial properties.
