TYSONS CORNER, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cardinal Bank (NASDAQ: CFNL) is pleased to announce that Todd W. Rowley has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer. Rowley will focus on managing and growing the commercial loan and deposit relationships in the Fairfax County, Virginia market. His office, in Cardinal Bank’s Headquarters, is located at 8270 Greensboro Drive in McLean, Virginia.
Rowley joins Cardinal’s outstanding group of local lenders as a seasoned banker with a depth of both regional market knowledge and business management skills. He will work primarily with Cardinal’s thriving Fairfax Market team, which brings together lenders, business development officers, retail bankers, and investment services representatives to provide a full range of products and services to business clientele in the region. Most recently, Rowley was a Senior Vice President and Senior Director in the Mid-Atlantic Middle Market group for Capital One Bank.

Rowley holds an MBA in Finance and Operation Research/Management Science from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech, as well as a Graduate Degree in Banking Finance from the University of Delaware Stonier Graduate School of Banking. His long history of community engagement includes service on numerous regional boards and councils, including his current role as President of the advisory board for Virginia Tech’s MBA School, and his recent appointment as board member of Northern Virginia Community College. He has served on a number of advisory boards for George Mason University, on the executive board for the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, as well as on the board for Leadership Fairfax. Rowley has completed regional programs with both Leadership Fairfax and Leadership Charlotte, and was a class member of LEAD Virginia. In the community, Rowley serves on the board of Fairfax County Office to Prevent and End Homelessness and has been active with the Boy Scouts.
