Decisyon Adds Analytics Industry Veterans to Executive Team

STAMFORD, Conn.--()--Decisyon Inc., provider of the industry’s only unified, collaborative business intelligence (BI) and performance management platform, today announced the addition of Mark Corsetti, senior vice president of worldwide sales and John O’Rourke, vice president of marketing to the Decisyon executive team. Corsetti and O’Rourke are based in Stamford and today’s move reinforces Decisyon’s strategic expansion into the U.S. market.

Corsetti will be instrumental in leading Decisyon in both the direct and indirect markets. Corsetti will also lead the adoption and execution of sales programs that support Decisyon’s go-to-market strategy.

Corsetti has consistently been able to grow companies in new markets. Recently, he was responsible for introducing Tagetik into the North American market, and was successful in leading them to rapid growth during the tough economic climate of the last five years. He spent nine years with Hyperion Solutions, where he served as Vice President of the Eastern Region helping drive the company’s growth from $60M to $500M. He also served as the General Manager at Cartesis North America prior to the company’s acquisition by Business Objects, where he was named Vice President of EPM for NA and was able to deliver consistent growth. Prior to that he worked at Panorama Software where he served as Vice President World-Wide Operations. Mark also had a nine-year career at Wang Laboratories.

At Decisyon, O’Rourke is responsible for raising market awareness, ramping-up demand generation programs and providing world-class support for its direct sales and partner channel.

Before joining Decisyon, John was Vice President of Product Marketing at Oracle, with responsibility for the company’s market-leading Enterprise Performance Management products. Prior to Oracle, John spent 10 years with Hyperion Solutions as Senior Director of Product Marketing, launching many new products and helping to establish the company’s market leadership in Corporate Performance Management. During his time at Hyperion the company grew from $175M to over $750M in revenue before being acquired by Oracle for $3.3B in 2007. John was also Product Marketing Manager at Kenan Systems, which grew from $10M to $40M in revenue during John’s tenure, and was eventually sold to Lucent for $1.5B. John has also held Strategic Marketing and Product Marketing positions at Dun & Bradstreet Software.
