Beyond Meat Moves to New Headquarters in Heart of Historic Smoky Hollow District in El Segundo, California

Food tech start-up opens office in revitalized neighborhood attracting creative businesses and that for decades was home to manufacturers and vendors serving neighboring aerospace firms

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--()--Beyond Meat® (@BeyondMeat), a leading developer of plant-based protein products that replicate the texture and taste of meat, has moved its headquarters to 111 Main Street in the historic Smoky Hollow neighborhood of El Segundo, California.

Beyond Meat joins a contingent of other dynamic start-up companies that have made Smoky Hollow their home for the past few years, attracted by other creative businesses and retro buildings of exposed brick and warehouse spaces. The move provides Beyond Meat with an open-office layout, a new test kitchen and a family-style dining area for holding meetings and taste test events. The new minimalistic space emphasizes the company’s focus on collaboration, sustainable living and food innovation. Beyond Meat will continue to produce its products at its plant in Columbia, Missouri.

Beyond Meat provides plant-based proteins that mimic the taste, mouth-feel and nutritional benefits of meat.
