NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hennessy Capital Acquisition Corp. (the "Company") announced today that it priced its initial public offering of 10,000,000 units at $10.00 per unit. Each unit issued in the initial public offering consists of one share of the Company's common stock and one warrant to purchase one half of one share of common stock at an exercise price of $5.75 per half share ($11.50 per full share). The Company has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to 1,500,000 additional units to cover over-allotments, if any. The units are expected to begin trading Friday, January 17, 2014 on The NASDAQ Capital Market under the symbol "HCACU."
Hennessy Capital Acquisition Corp. is a newly organized blank check company founded by Daniel J. Hennessy and formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses.
