KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dura-Line Corp. is investing in capacity and new technology while creating two new business units to enhance the company's ability to meet US market challenges in this year. A leading international manufacturer and distributor of communication and energy infrastructure products and systems, Dura-Line will realign management of its two core US and Canadian businesses under Vince Dimino, named President of US and Canada Infrastructure Business Solutions, and Dale Wilson, named President of US and Canada Datacom and Power Solutions.
Concurrently, the company is investing to increase capacity in its production plants in Gainesville (TX), Midland (TX) and Elyria (OH). After its acquisition of PolyPipe Holdings, Inc. in 2012, Dura-Line expanded its presence in the pressure-pipe market by augmenting the range of its HDPE products and offerings.
Dura-Line President and Chief Executive Officer, Paresh Chari, said the two new divisions will encompass the company's pressure-pipe and conduit businesses, respectively. "These changes will drive enhanced focus and provide the desired impetus for us to expand our US business this year," Chari added.
Dura-Line, headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, serves customers in over 50 countries and is the global leader of high-density polyethylene-based conduit, duct, and pressure-pipe solutions for telecommunications, energy, and infrastructure-related markets. The company has 10 US manufacturing centers, as well as eight overseas. Its US-manufactured products are compliant with the Buy American requirements of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and Dura-Line is ISO-9001 certified.
