KEMET announced its alliance with NEC TOKIN in 2013 and has now added a broad range of the Japanese manufacturer’s advanced technologies. As part of the first phase of this joint venture, KEMET's extensive selection of capacitor technologies will now be enhanced with the following electronic component products:
- Expanded range of tantalum capacitors
- Supercapacitors
- Electromechanical devices (EMDs), including signal relays
- Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) devices, including Flex Suppressor® sheets, EMI cores, metal composite inductors and AC line filters
