She will be based in Brisbane managing sales marketing and client solutions reporting to Dan Lagani, Glam Media Chief Revenue Officer and President. She will also be a member of Glam Media’s executive operating team and lead global corporate marketing and communications overseen by Samir Arora, Glam Media Chairman and CEO.
Jill Byron is a seasoned marketing veteran with more than twenty years of experience in marketing who has focused her corporate and advertising agency career on creating immersive brand experiences and go-to-market plans and programs for leading global consumer and technology companies. She specializes in all facets of digital, traditional and broadcast media, with high impact integrated campaigns recently on display at CES, Comic Con, and the Digital Content video Newfronts.
Most recently, she spent the last six years as VP Marketing for CBS Interactive, where she led marketing, brand building, strategic planning and program execution across major web properties such as the company’s flagship CNET franchise.
Prior to CBS Interactive, Jill led marketing and advertising for Chevron retail while at Y&R San Francisco. Previously, she led Sybase’s mobile database repositioning campaign. Early in her career, Jill developed and executed global and regional marketing campaigns for such well known consumer brands as Dreyer’s/Edy’s Grand Ice Cream, Fisher-Price, Horizon Organic Dairy, Rice-A-Roni and Dell Computers.
In this newly created position at Glam Media, Ms. Byron will be responsible for corporate marketing, PR & communications, marketing & client solutions, brand category development, consumer insights & analytics and video marketing solutions.
