WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Registration is now open for the 2014 American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Predental Student Virtual Fair taking place on April 29 and 30, 2014, from noon to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time. This two-day event is free for high school and college students, and offers an online platform for learning about U.S. dental schools and the application process.
“The ADEA Predental Student Virtual Fair is a convenient online forum where students evaluating a career in dentistry can learn more about the profession and the dental school admissions process,” says ADEA President and CEO, Richard W. Valachovic, D.M.D., M.P.H. “It is one of many resources that ADEA provides to help guide future dental students.”
Whether just beginning to explore oral health careers or actually starting the dental school application process, predental students can visit dental school “virtual booths” to watch videos, collect fact sheets and materials, chat live with admissions deans and directors, view presentations on contemporary issues in dentistry and connect with other predental students in networking forums.
Students who register by Monday, April 7, 2014, and attend the live event will be entered in a drawing for one of many prizes, including ADEA Associated American Dental Schools Application Service (ADEA AADSAS) first designation in the 2015 or 2016 cycle ($240 value), a printed copy the 2014 ADEA Official Guide to Dental Schools or one of many ADEA prize packages.
