Whitestone REIT Announces First Quarter 2014 Dividend and Plans to Begin Providing Financial Guidance in 2014

HOUSTON--()--The Board of Trustees of Whitestone REIT (NYSE: WSR – “Whitestone”), a fully integrated real estate company that owns, operates and redevelops Community Centered PropertiesTM announced today that The Board of Trustees of Whitestone REIT authorized the Company’s quarterly cash dividend of $0.285 per common share and Operating Partnership (“OP”) unit.

Whitestone declares quarterly distributions to holders of its common shares and OP units, which are payable monthly in three installments of $0.095 per common share and OP unit. The record and payment dates for the first quarter 2014 period are shown in the following table:

The Company also announced that it plans to begin providing financial guidance in 2014. Whitestone expects to issue its year end 2013 Earnings Release in late February 2014 and provide annual 2014 financial guidance at that time.
