MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AddThis today announced the appointment of Hal Muchnick as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. In his new role Muchnick will be responsible for global business operations at the company, including sales, marketing, client services, business and publisher network development.
Hal brings over two decades of senior sales, marketing, business development, product and executive leadership in marketing information, analytics, adtech and interactive media to his new role at AddThis. Prior to AddThis, Muchnick was president of data-driven content marketing company Kontera, where he was responsible for marketing, sales, client services, business development, publisher network and U.S. operations.

Prior to Kontera, Hal served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Operative, the SaaS based media platform known for driving operational efficiency among today’s leading media companies. Hal has also served as Vice President, Sales and Account Management for DoubleClick, where he was responsible for their publisher, agency and rich media divisions. Previously, Hal was Chief Operating Officer of Lowermybills.com a leader in the online lead market acquired by Experian in May 2005. Before joining Lowermybills.com, Hal spent more than 10 years at Experian in various leadership positions and helped the company evolve into a standalone global marketing information services company.
