INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Family-owned and Indiana-based Salin Bank is proud to announce that Dorothy Dodd has joined the team as a Mortgage Consultant for Central Indiana.
“As a mortgage professional, Dorothy is dedicated to providing top-notch service and personalized solutions to best meet the needs of her home buying customers,” said Tom Lannan, VP and Sales Manager of Mortgage Division. “As a Mortgage Consultant, Dorothy presents her customers with an extensive product line that includes a variety of flexible financing options whether they are buying or refinancing.”
Before joining Salin Bank, Dodd began her career in the mortgage banking industry in Gary, Indiana as an office administrator in 1976. In 1979 she was promoted to branch manager in Aurora, Illinois. Since that time, she has managed offices in Illinois, Indiana and St. Louis, Missouri.
In 2001 Dorothy’s focus turned to loan origination in an effort to help first-time homebuyers with the mortgage process. As a community development specialist, she works specifically with low- to moderate-income borrowers. She educates members of the community about home buying as well as affordable mortgages to help fight predatory lending. Helping to fight homelessness in Central Indiana is another one of her missions.
Dodd serves on several committees with various community organizations. She was nominated Affiliate of the Year in 2005 by the Women’s Council of Realtors. Additionally, her profile was featured in the July 2006 edition of the Indianapolis Business Journal, “Women in Business.”
Dodd has devoted her career and her life to making sure others have the security of homeownership.
