Varghese will be responsible for defining, consulting and monitoring compliance with security best practices for Targetbase’s customer information systems that are managed on behalf of clients at our secure data centers.

Varghese joins Targetbase from American Express where he was responsible for setting strategic direction on IT risk, security, compliance, and privacy matters, performed security due diligence on mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, established SAS-70/SSAE-16 processes and developed business continuity and disaster recovery programs. Prior to Amex, Varghese served in thought leadership capabilities with Texas Guaranteed, Sony Electronics-Americas, and began his career with Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young consulting with Fortune 500 clients. He holds many industry certifications, most notably Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, PGP Cryptography Certification, NSA-IAM National Security Agency-INFOSEC Assessment Methodology. Varghese is an active member of the information security/assurance community, including roles as a presenter/speaker to ISSA, InfraGard, ISACA, and the FBI.
