CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--It was a clean sweep at the Redsfest in Cincinnati as Bounty Select-A-Size teamed up with Reds pitcher, Mike Leake, to prove how one small sheet of Select-A-Size can tackle fans’ biggest game-day messes. No stranger to the delicious messes served up at the Great American Ball Park, Bounty and Leake were on-site all weekend-long to show fans how they can be fearless when it comes to enjoying their favorite messy ballpark meals and honor the unsung heroes who clean them up.
Bounty’s presence at the annual fan festival was a part of an ongoing partnership with the Cincinnati Reds and the Great American Ball Park that launched earlier this year. All season long, the paper towel brand sponsored forty Bounty Clean Crew members to help clean up messes around the park during game time. The partnership was heralded in a 15 second spot on the stadium’s videoboard and fans everywhere were encouraged to join in the messy fun by following @Bounty on Twitter using the hashtag “#CleanSweep”.
As part of the Redsfest celebration Bounty and Leake hosted a special ceremony honoring the outstanding members of Bounty Clean Crew that went above and beyond in keeping the Great American Ball Park sparkling. Megan Power, Alphonso English, Sylvester Sanchez and Isau Vasquez of the greater Cincinnati area were presented with a special thank you package from Bounty and Mike for all their hard work during the season.
“One of the best parts of Redsfest is not only celebrating the team – but every member of the Reds family that keeps their stadium looking great,” said Victoria Schooler, Bounty Communications Manager. “Through our partnership with the Cincinnati Reds we are able to continuously prove to fans how Bounty Select-A-Size can tackle their biggest messes from the ballpark to their home base.”
Thanks to “trap & lock technology” one sheet of Bounty Select-A-Size is 2X more absorbent than the Custom-Size-It ® brand (11” X 5.5”). To prove to food fanatics the strength and absorbency of one sheet, Bounty Clean Crew members were on site to provide product giveaways and coupons to festival-goers.

About the Cincinnati Reds
As baseball’s first professional team, the Cincinnati Reds have a rich and storied tradition that dates back to 1869. A new generation of Reds All-Stars such as Brandon Phillips, Joey Votto, Jay Bruce and Aroldis Chapman has emerged to energize Reds fans by winning Central Division championships in 2010 and 2012. Much of the credit for the Reds’ success has been dependent on the support of the fans and their passion for the game.
