E2open and Vodafone Selected as Winners at 2013 European Supply Chain Excellence Awards

FOSTER CITY, Calif.--()--E2open (NASDAQ: EOPN), the leading provider of cloud-based solutions for collaborative planning and execution across global trading networks, and Vodafone (VOD: LN), one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, have been named winners for a joint submission in the Supply Chain Operations category at the 2013 European Supply Chain Excellence Awards, which took place on November 6, 2013 at the London Hilton on Park Lane in London, England. E2open and Vodafone worked closely with Accenture, the global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, to enable close to a thousand suppliers to collaborate with Vodafone through the Vodafone electronic trading network.

The European Supply Chain Excellence Awards – organized by the Supply Chain Standard– were launched in 1997 as an initiative to recognize and reward organizations in Europe that demonstrate excellence in their supply chain operations. The key objectives of the Awards are to recognize outstanding achievement in supply chain management across Europe, reward those companies who have attained the highest standards, and highlight the importance of excellent supply chain management.

More than 37,000 trading partners and 117,000 unique registered users currently participate in the E2open Business Network, which allows participants to access and share data and execute business processes in a secure, real-time manner.
