NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--New York’s Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio has selected Aron Govil, Chairman & CEO of Ducon Technologies Inc. to his inauguration committee along with other high profile New Yorkers such as legendary singer and civil rights leader Harry Belafonte and actors Sarah Jessica Parker, Susan Sarandon, Russell Simmons and Steve Buscemi, along with Ronald Perelman, Chairman and CEO, MacAndrews & Forbes.
The inauguration set for January 1, will be a celebration of diversity of New York and Bill de Blasio’s grassroots victory from every borough of New York. Mr. de Blasio who won 74% of the total vote is the first democratic mayor in 20 years and will be succeeding current Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is a renowned billionaire.
