The new solution will debut at Dreamforce 2013 with the full release slated for the first quarter of 2014.
The new product offering for Salesforce.com, the world’s largest provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software, represents the first step in Spanning’s product line expansion plans to provide backup and recovery of critical data in the top cloud-based business applications.

Spanning Backup for Salesforce will be the first and only backup solution embedded in the Salesforce user interface, allowing users to review their backup and recovery information in-app without ever having to leave Salesforce. Additionally, this unique integration with Salesforce allows Spanning Backup to share key backup and recovery activities directly into the Chatter newsfeeds.

Pricing and Availability
Spanning Backup for Salesforce is currently available in private beta. The product will be generally available and sold on a per-user, per-year subscription in the first quarter 2014.
