Margaret Jantzen Joins Butler Rubin as an Associate

CHICAGO--()--Margaret Jantzen has joined the Chicago law firm Butler Rubin Saltarelli & Boyd LLP as an associate, concentrating her practice in complex commercial litigation.

Most recently, Jantzen served as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Matthew W. Brann, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania in Williamsport. Previously, she was a Law Clerk to the Hon. Magistrate Judge Gregory Hollows, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California in Sacramento.

Jantzen began her legal career as a litigation associate with Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where she handled a wide variety of complex litigation, including business disputes, securities fraud, toxic and mass tort liability, and representing BP America in the myriad litigation and investigations arising from the 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

She received her law degree from Cornell Law School in 2008 and, while there, served as an Editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. She received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.
