Copyright Clearance Center Adds 16 Publishers to Get It Now

DANVERS, Mass.--()--Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC), a not-for-profit organization creating global licensing and content solutions that make copyright work for everyone, has announced the addition of 16 new publishers to its award-winning Get It Now academic service.

The new publishers include Alcohol Research Documentation, Allerton Press, Allied Health, American College of Chest Physicians, American Psychiatric Association, American Society of Agricultural and Biology, American Society of Nephrology, Annals Publishing, British Editorial Society of Bone and Joint Surgery, Endocrine Society, Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, Innovision Health, Oncology Nursing Society, Science & Medicine, Society of Leukocyte Biology, and Summit Business Media.

In June, CCC announced the integration of OCLC’s ILL Fee Management (IFM) Service, which officially went into operation on August 1.

Get It Now provides library patrons with immediate fulfillment of cost-effective, full-text articles from unsubscribed journals – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“This further demonstrates the value that Get It Now delivers to both libraries and publishers,” said Tim Bowen, CCC Director, Academic Products & Services.
