Shell Renews Contract With J&L Marketing

Participating auto dealers to continue benefiting from program — decreased marketing costs and increased sales

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--()--J&L Marketing announced today that Shell, a global group of energy and petrochemical companies in more than 70 countries, has renewed its contract for promotional services and marketing solutions—extending the collaborative relationship that originated in 2008.

J&L Marketing worked with the multi-national organization to establish Shell Advantage Marketing Solutions (SAMS), a program that enables automotive dealers to decrease marketing costs and increase sales for a better bottom line. As a preferred vendor, J&L is able to offer dealerships comprehensive marketing solutions that include multi-channel direct marketing campaigns for sales events, customer pay service clinics and the bLinked equity and lead generation program—all at significant savings.

“Dealerships that participate in SAMS receive generous discounts on targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns,” said Jamil Zabaneh, Vice President of National Accounts. “J&L Marketing provides tracking reports so dealers can figure out their return on investment (ROI) and know exactly how well their sales events and customer pay service clinics with J&L are performing. It’s a win-win-win solution—for Shell, J&L Marketing, but most importantly, the dealerships. They’re the ones where SAMS is making a real difference in their sales and their bottom line.”

Today more than 500 automobile dealerships nationwide participate in the SAMS program.

“It is our customer value proposition to the OEM & car dealership segment to provide programs that generate traffic driving and profit potential opportunities to our customers,” said Jesse Campos, Director FWS OEM for Shell Lubricants. “J&L Marketing enables this proposition through our Shell Advantage Marketing Solutions program to become a reality for them. Ultimately, consumers are the winners in the end—either when purchasing a new vehicle or getting their current vehicles inspected and serviced, and keeping them safe on the road.”

“It was an important moment in J&L’s history when one of the largest corporations in the world originally collaborated with us in 2008,” said Scott Joseph, President of J&L Marketing. “The fact that Shell is renewing their contract five years later based on the performance of our program—that’s even more of a milestone. Our goal is to continue delivering the innovative marketing solutions that have improved the bottom line for the hundreds of dealerships participating in SAMS.”
