HARRINGTON PARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--United Water today announced the appointment of David Carter as its new General Manager and Vice President of Operations responsible for United Water’s contracts in the Midwest and North Carolina. Carter is the former vice president of operations for Veolia Water North America’s central region.
Mr. Carter’s 25-year career has drawn accolades from both business management and engineering circles. United Water will tap Carter’s extensive experience in leading plant operations and maintenance, including his eight years leading water and wastewater operations.

Mr. Carter’s management experience includes directing efforts in strategic planning, capital planning, cost control, labor relations, legal case management, safety, compliance, client relations and consulting. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a master of science degree in ceramic engineering from the University of Illinois.
